Yuzu x Chubby Group Holiday Sitcom Series
At the heart of the campaign is a hilarious 3-part holiday sitcom series premiering October 23. Inspired by Gen Z’s dating quirks and Asian-coded humor, each episode spotlights the intersections of love, friendship, and food:
Episode 1: “Meet Cute” (Premieres November 4) – A surprising YUZU match blossoms into a first date at the park.
Episode 2: “Friendsgiving, But Make It Extra” (Premieres November 25) – Holiday chaos is saved by a Chubby Group feast and the crew meets the new girl.
Episode 3: “Holidays with the Little Red Box” (Premieres December) – Chosen family and returning couples celebrate a heartfelt winter gathering along with a surprise little red box.
The series will be distributed across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, creating a shareable narrative that ties digital dating to real-life dining. “Chubby Group has always been about creating spaces where culture and cuisine spark joy,” said April Li, VP of Marketing at Chubby Group. “Partnering with YUZU lets us celebrate how dining becomes the backdrop for love stories, friendships, and chosen families during the holidays.”

Limited-Edition Yuzu Cosmopolitan Drink
To further celebrate the season, Chubby Group will release the Yuzu Cosmopolitan (with a gooseberry, strawberry, shiso, and gold lemon wheel garnish), available from October 23 through December 15 at Niku X (NYC & LA), The X Pot (Las Vegas), and Wagyu House (Atlanta). A non-alcoholic option will also be available. Through an exclusive app integration, YUZU users can redeem the drink for free via the Chubby Club app, turning online matches into IRL meetups, one toast at a time.
Immersive Launch + Screening Events
The YUZU × Chubby Group campaign will kick off with immersive watch-party screenings in New York City and Los Angeles. Guests will be greeted with a Yuzu Cosmopolitan and delicious food from Chubby Group. They’ll enjoy exclusive first looks at episodes from the holiday sitcom series, followed by a chance to mingle with the cast and creators. The evenings are designed to feel relaxed and festive—a chance to watch together, share a meal, and connect in person.

Each dinner will highlight the Yuzu Cosmopolitan collab drink alongside Chubby Group’s signature dishes, creating the perfect backdrop for conversation and content.

YUZU and Chubby Group will also send 200 co-branded “Cuffing Season Starter Kits” to press, creators, and community partners during the holiday season. The kits include a long-sleeve co-branded jersey, Yuzu-scented candle, sticker pack, a drink redemption card, and a 1-year Chubby membership, designed to bring the campaign home and encourage try-ons, unboxings, and first sips.
